Spalding County created on December 20th 1851 and named for Senator Thomas Spalding; is comprised of East Griffin, Experiment, Griffin, Orchard Hill, and Sunnyside Georgia. Better known to many as the "Iris City" The Spalding Co. Scholarship Pageant is designed to promote education and community service among young ladies in our community.
Megan is currently a senior at Griffin Christain Academy and is on the path to being Valedictorian for the class of 2011. Daughter of Chandla Reid and Jason Crenshaw, and grandaughter of Dale and Mike Maddox. Megan enjoys cheering for her school's football and basketball teams and playing tennis. She loves to read and listen to music. Texting is an essential part of her day, and she loves to spend time with her friends and boyfriend. Working as a waitress right now; Megan will soon be attending college to get her degree. Then on to medical school, possibly to study pediatric medicine. Her current awards and accomplishments are receiving the Highest GPA award two years at her school. Receiving the Most Valuable Player award for tennis and the 110% award for Cheerleading.
